Fading Colors 510 Policy
1. Booking and Payment Policies
• A non-refundable deposit (e.g. 50% of the total fee) is required to secure a booking.
• Full payment is due on or before the event date.
• A clear cancellation policy, such as a minimum notice period of 48 hours for rescheduling without losing the deposit.
2. Safety and Hygiene Policies
• Only high-quality, hypoallergenic, and FDA-approved face paints are used.
• Brushes, sponges, and other tools are sanitized between uses.
• Face painting will not be performed on children with visible skin conditions, open wounds, or contagious illnesses (e.g., cold sores, chickenpox).
3. Age Restrictions
• Face painting is typically offered for children ages 3 and up to ensure safety and cooperation during the process.
4. Time and Attendance Policy
• A minimum booking time of 1 hour.
• Additional charges may apply for extended time beyond the agreed duration.
• The face painter must arrive at least 15-30 minutes before the start of the event for setup.
5. Weather and Venue Policies
• Outdoor events require adequate shade or shelter to protect supplies and ensure safe working conditions.
• Events canceled due to weather must adhere to the cancellation or rescheduling policy.
6. Design and Time Limitations
• Simple designs may be offered for large groups to ensure every child has a turn.
• A maximum number of faces painted per hour of 5 - 15, depending on the complexity of the designs.
7. Liability and Parental Consent
• Disclaimer face painter is not liable for allergic reactions or skin sensitivities. Parents/guardians should inform the face painter of any known allergies before painting.
8. Professional Conduct
• The face painter reserves the right to refuse service to individuals exhibiting inappropriate or disruptive behavior.
9. Travel Fees
• Outline travel fees for events outside a specified radius from the business location.
10. Photography and Social Media Consent
• Policy for obtaining permission to take photos of face-painting designs for promotional purposes.
